Summary:
"I always want to be positive with the future; I see myself professionally fulfilled in this country and helping my husband and daughter to move forward with our family contributing to this country that gave me the opportunities that I wanted so much." A student of Agriculture from Peru who received a visa to work on a farm in Missouri, due to high demand and supply shortages of qualified labor in Livestock Farming. As a qualified and competent worker, she becomes part of every aspect of the livestock farming process. However, she faces many prejudices, misconceptions, and other obstacles. At the same time, she meets wonderful people who are there to provide her with much needed support. She also meets her future husband with whom she has a child. Together they move to Middlesex County, in New Jersey, where she attends ESL classes at Middlesex College. She dreams of continuing her education and together with her family continuing to contribute to the society by bringing to the table very important values, such as family values, hard work, strong work ethic, etc. ( , )
