Jose Zapata discusses the major decisions that he took in life that have led him to where he is today. He speaks of the difficulties he faced after first arriving in the states. Jose also speaks about his pathway to owning the restaurants that he does today, his dreams for the future and his family who helps him everyday in his life as the owner of Los Antojitos. ( ,,,,,,, )
Abstract:
This is a transcript of an oral history interview that took place as part of the class projects for Middlesex College's History 221H class in the Fall of 2022.
Biographical:
Jose Zapata is a Guatemalan born American citizen who came to America following his brothers to see what life could bring him. He is now married, has six children and during the last ten years has been able to open and run three successful restaurants. As of today he owns Los Antojitos and Los Antojitos BBQ Middlesex.
