Voices of Perth Amboy is a multi-year digital oral history initiative dedicated to preserving the lived experiences and modern history of Perth Amboy. Recognizing the city's vulnerability to climate change and the risk of cultural erasure, this initiative empowers Middlesex College students and faculty to document the diverse voices of community leaders, organizers, witnesses, and everyday residents. By capturing these narratives through in-person and remote interviews, the project aims to create an engaging digital archive that fosters empathy, enhances awareness, and celebrates the cultural resilience of Perth Amboy.
